Submissive Love

Last week in our sermon series, we learned about submissive love (Ruth 3). To be submissive, one must choose to yield and surrender to another's authority.

Many people choose not to submit to God's calling due to our fears, failures, and insecurities. We lack the trust to allow God to lead us out of our comfort zone. We must remember that God didn't call us to be comfortable but to be obedient.

Jesus promised that the life of a Christian isn't easy. He stated that the road will be narrow. But He also promise that the narrow road will lead to eternal life (Matthew 7:13-14).

We learned that Ruth submitted to her mother-in-law not out of vain and fear but through love and obedience. Through her faith and obedience, she will find a new life waiting for her.

We encouraged you to be submissive to God's calling in your life. Through your failures and brokenness, God can do amazing things through you and to you. We challenge you to trust in God as He leads you into the unknown (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Come join us as we continue with the next sermon in this series, Redeeming Love
